Pom Klementieff is an actress from France who has gained international fame for portraying the role of Mantis in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films. She has also delivered memorable performances in films like ‘Loup’, ‘Sleepless Night’, and ‘Oldboy’. Klementieff was born when her parents were living in Quebec City, Canada. She spent the first year of her life in Canada and then relocated to Japan and then to the Ivory Coast with her family. Eventually, they settled in France. When she was 19 years old, she decided to pursue a career as an actress and enrolled at the Cours Florent drama school in Paris. Klementieff made her acting debut in the 2007 French independent film ‘Après lui’, in which she worked opposite Catherine Deneuve. Her television debut came about a couple of years later, in the miniseries ‘Pigalle, la nuit’. In 2013, she appeared in her first Hollywood film, Spike Lee’s ‘Oldboy’. After two years, Klementieff joined the MCU, and her first film in the franchise, ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2’, was released. She has since appeared in two more films in the franchise, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’.
